Who the packages are intended for The packages are intended for babies to 16 year olds, male and female.Some items are also intended for the mothers.
HOW IT WORKS a).I contact companies, either by phone or in person and appeal to them to donate items which I can use in the packages. b).If they are interested I then send them an appeal letter along with an information pamphlet which I have created for my charity and which I update yearly. c).When their donation arrives I organize the items according to age and gender.The items are then stored until all of the donations arrive. d).I then send out “Thank You” letters to the donators. e).When all of the items needed arrive I determined how much I have and then decide how many packages to make for each age group and gender. f).I organize a packing day, contact my volunteers (about 30 to 40 people) and arrange for catering on that day.It takes a full day to package the items at which point they are delivered with a series of trucks to the shelters. g).I then create “UPDATE” letters which let all of my supporters know how many packages we created, to which shelters they went and to say “thank you “ once again.
***THE WHOLE PROCESS TAKES ABOUT 1 YEAR TO COMPLETE AT WHICH POINTI TAKE ABOUT 3 MONTHS OFF AND BEGIN AGAIN.***
